Dua of Gratitude — Thanking Allah for the Gift of a Child

دُعَاءُ الشُّكْرِ عَلَى الذُّرِّيَّةِ

After decades of waiting, Ibrahim was granted Isma'il and Ishaq in his old age — and his response was recorded in the Quran as a model of gratitude. For a mother carrying a child, this dua turns every kick, scan, and milestone into an occasion of shukr.

Gratitude in pregnancy is not only good manners with Allah — it is His stated condition for increase: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you" (Quran 14:7).
