Development at Week 22

At 22 weeks, the brain and nerve endings are developed enough for your baby to experience the sense of touch. Eyebrows are distinct and the hair on the head is visible on ultrasound. The pancreas is maturing and beginning to produce insulin, which is essential for regulating blood sugar after birth.
