Development at Week 24

At 24 weeks, the brain is developing rapidly and the cerebral cortex is beginning to take on its characteristic folded structure. Your baby's inner ear is fully developed, providing a strong sense of balance and the ability to detect the direction of sounds. Taste buds are fully mature and your baby can taste the different flavors in the amniotic fluid.
