Tooth buds are forming beneath the gums.
The kidneys and digestive system are starting to work while the brain grows rapidly.

Your body

Nausea, constipation, gas, heartburn, headaches, and fatigue may continue.
Mood changes and sensitivity to smells can remain intense.
A small bump may begin to show, especially in later pregnancies.

This week's checklist

Ask your clinician about recommended first-trimester screening options and timing.
Choose looser clothing if it feels more comfortable.
Use food, fluid, and movement strategies approved by your care team for constipation or nausea.

Call your care team

Contact your clinician for bleeding, persistent headache, fever, or severe vomiting.
Seek urgent help for heavy bleeding, severe pain, shoulder pain, fainting, chest pain, or trouble breathing.
