Baby development

Nerve endings support a developing sense of touch.
Eyebrows, lips, and eyes are well formed, though the eyelids remain closed.
The pancreas is maturing and the hands can grasp nearby structures.

Your body

Movement may still feel like flutters or become more definite.
Stretch marks, heartburn, constipation, leg cramps, and an outward belly button are common.
A growing belly can change sleep and posture.

This week's checklist

Use practical stress-reduction habits that fit your routine.
Finalize any celebration or support plans without overloading yourself.
Ask your clinician about constipation, supplements, or persistent leg cramps.

Call your care team

Call for bleeding, leaking fluid, painful regular contractions, severe itching, or painful urination.
Seek urgent help for severe headache with vision changes, fainting, chest pain, trouble breathing, or severe abdominal pain.

Medical information, not medical advice

Every pregnancy is different. Use this guide for general education and follow the advice of your own maternity care team. Do not delay urgent care because of something you read here.
